This is a piece I did for my portfolio, that is still a bit different from what I'm doing now, but I'm still quite fond of because of the fantastical yet somehow dark aspect to it.
I remember this was one of the pieces that looked like it was going to be incredibly weak in comparison to the others, but when I finished it, I and so many people enjoyed it.

This is very cool. Reminds my of the vanitas pantings. And I love your choice of brown paper, it gives it a very nostalgic mood.
